Minolta X700

Below are some past portraits, all shot on a hand me down Minolta X700 with various film stocks. The Minolta X700 was my very first film camera, not counting the Polaroid I had in 8th grade. I have had about 4 Minolta X700s now, I keep having the same issue with each one, where the shutter won’t advance and the curtain gets stuck. I have a mental block about spending over a certain amount on used cameras, and seem to be able to pick up these particular Minoltas for $120ish…But I think I’m done now, since they keep dying on me after a year or two. Still they are good entry level film camera for learning to shoot manual and make a great picture.
